Next to the main characters, and the very helpful talking truck, this little boat plays an important role too. The mast and sails needed to be able to behave in a believable manner, quickly lowered and folded to avoid the dangerous powerlines. To liven up the shots the sails were simulated to catch wind. Since the majority of the frame in many shots contains a clear view of the lake, a lot of time was spent in getting the water to look beautiful, believable and interact with the boat.
