The world of Discord
When Discord commissioned us to help with the release of new sets of cosmetics for users to decorate their profile and avatar with, we couldn't have been more ecstatic! It has been an amazing collaboration for a platform that we use on the daily! What did we do? To differentiate the real cool users of Discord from the basic users, Discord releases ‘drops’—unique visuals that users can add to their profile and avatar. We’ve had the honor of working on two of those drops: Winterwonder and Steampunk!
Gears, Steam, and Innovation
Steampunk is all about intricate mechanics, polished brass, and the hum of steam-powered innovation. Think small bolts, rotating gears, and elegant metalwork, creating a look that feels both vintage and futuristic. Look at these designs we crafted to bring that industrial magic to life!
Profile Effects take personalization to the next level, adding subtle or dynamic animations that play when someone visits your profile.
Winter Wonderland
For this drop we wanted to capture the cozy magic of winter. Playful penguins, a floppy polar bear, and the breathtaking aurora borealis all made their way into our designs.
The result? Avatar decorations that bring a frosty, festive touch to your profile!
We also created winter-y animated Profile Effects that bring the chill (and fun) of winter to life.
