The blocky aesthetic of the commercial takes us into a world of exact thinking and relentless precision, where square'ish looking bots populate an investor’s dreams. We were ready to jump on the tech train by deploying visual accuracy and mathematical goodness.

"It never gets boring blowing up virtual pigs"
Robots like exact and calculated spaces: that’s why the world of these investor bots is made of voxelized objects. Reminiscent of the 8-bit game graphics of the NES era, this world is no place for plum piggy-banks.
As soon as we heard of an explosion we dived in the research and testing phase, and no, it never gets boring blowing up virtual pigs and looking for fun ways to show it on screen. For the explosion, we used a high density, highly detailed smoke simulation made into a dynamic sculpture of cubes perfectly matching the style of the ad. The shape is given by the density field in the smoke simulation, and the color by the temperature field, which gives an awesome transition of colors from white-hot to burnt-black.
