ALDI - Gezellig Thuis

"Gezellig", adjective - cozy, nice, pleasant, convivial, sociable, or fun. That perfectly sums up this Emoji® campaign for 2025! Because when Emoji® move in, the house is anything but ordinary - even a simple grocery run turns into a full-blown party. This year, we once again joined forces with Serviceplan and Red Dust for ALDI Belgium to bring the yellow icons back to life.

With every campaign, new Emoji® characters burst onto the scene. We’ve built a streamlined workflow that lets us quickly create and animate a full cast of new expressive personalities. Each one comes with its own quirks and personality. And yes, you’ll want to collect them all!

For this edition, the challenge was to integrate the Emoji® into real homy environment. From kitchen counters to bathroom sinks, we carefully tracked and composited each animated character into the live-action plates - making sure they felt like natural (if slightly mischievous) houseguests. The result: a seamless mix of everyday life and playful absurdity, proof that things get a lot more gezellig when Emoji® move in.
